The Just Soaring Team is made up of veteran guys that have decades of experience individually in a number of industries and functionalities and where we all share a passion for simulator/racing rigs, aviation and of course soaring.
Engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, marketing / branding, customer support – each member of the Team has sort of “been there done that” in numerous companies over the many years working in a variety of countries and industries.
We are uniquely positioned to rapidly execute on our plans because our muscle memory is strong and while we might be a start-up brand in this space, we sure don't consider ourselves start-up guys that are going to their first rodeo relative to successfully designing, manufacturing, and distributing high quality consumer facing products!
Mitch started with gliders about 20 years ago flying a range of various RC park flyers and performance RC gliders. Then one day a few years ago decided that he wanted to be that little plastic guy glued into the cockpit but in a real glider!
He currently flies out of Crystalaire Airport / Soaring Academy located in sunny Southern California just outside of Los Angeles. He's got just over 300 soaring flights under his belt, and owns a 2010 Schleicher ASG29 sailplane.
Soaring the Sky Podcast is also something Mitch got involved with in early 2020 and has been a co-producer on the Show during that time helping to research and write up interview material for countless glider pilots from all over the world.

With nearly 30 years of global management experience in industries ranging from investment banking and entertainment, to automotive electronics and beverage equipment – Mitch brings a wealth of knowledge and important contacts / network built out in stints with companies such as Fedex (Greater China/Asia), Rosen Products (Los Angeles), Aldare Capital Partners (Taipei), Megazone Laser Games (Greater China), and most recently with Middleby Corporation’s Ss Brewtech Division (Los Angeles).
Most of the last 20 years of Mitch’s career have been functionally in cross-border supply chains and executive/ general management. His most recent stint as the Founder and President of Ss Brewtech , was arguably his biggest career achievement: taking a company literally from his garage in Southern California all the way to an acquisition by a Nasdaq listed public company just 6 short years after starting a business that engineered and distributed high end home brewing and commercial brewing equipment all over the world.
